The Festival of Lights is once again battling the cold weather.

The morning of December 15, the Festival announced it would be rescheduling the Great Airdrie Train Race between the Fire Department and Ambulances due to expected windchills of -30 degrees. The train races will take place on December 22.

The Festival also had to cancel a performance by W.H. Croxford's band due to the cold.

The recent cold spell has kept visitors from the festival recently, causing concerns with the amount of donations the Festival will be able to raise.
