The Transportation Safety Board released details into their investigation of a plane crash near Cochrane.

Back on February 13th, a plane carry two Mount Royal Flight Instructors went down in Waipourous. Neither Reynold Johnson or Jeff Bird, survived the crash.

Today (February 27th) an investigator said that it remains a mystery as to what caused the crash. Fred Burrow with the TSB says the cockpit wasn't required to carry a voice recorder and many of the plane's components were destroyed in the crash.

Because of this, Burrow says they can't determine yet if an mechanical error or medical distress lead to the fatal crash.
