With the Civic Elections less than 2 months away, some candidates have already put out their signs.

The date to officially erect campaign signs was on August 17th and Kari Kitiuk with Airdrie Legislative Services explains where they can and can't go.

"They can't be placed on City owned or operated property. Some examples of that would be City Hall and our Arenas and Genesis Place. They can be posted boulevards, roads right of ways and adjoining facilities such as parks and playing fields."

Once the election is over on October 16th, the sings will need to be removed with 72 hours.
