The Festival of Lights kicked off on December 1, and it's brighter than ever.

We took to Nose Creek Park to ask visitors how they were enjoying this years display in its first few days.

"The lighting is a lot better. They've got lead lights this year, it's a lot brighter," said one woman, "The new train is really exciting as well."

"It's awesome," answered another woman, "I think that all the lights were restrung, which is really nice. In previous years there were a few that were burnt out but I think they did a really great job upgrading it all."

"So far actually it's probably the best year," one man replied.

The Festival of Lights runs nightly until December 31.
