The Airdrie Food Bank has issued an urgent request for donations of Enfamil baby formula, and particularly Enfamil Soy.

"Sometimes we need specific formulas for babies and their diets and their health and different things like that," said Quinn Donaldson, General Manager at the Airdrie Food Bank, "Right now we have a baby that's on Enfamil Soy, and that's not a formula that we have any of, so we've put out the call to the community to see if we can get any in."

Donaldson says they also have a general need for Enfamil baby formula and they currently don't have enough to supply what they need.

"Of the Enfamil Soy, we have one small can, so we don't have enough to give to this mom right now. Of Enfamil, we have a little bit, but we've had to do some subsituting recently for that one just because we didn't have enough to fill the orders that were requested for it."

Donaldson says that donations of the baby formula can be dropped off in donation bins at local grocery stores, but because of the urgent need for Enfamil Soy, it's even better if you can bring it directly to the Food Bank facility on the East Side.
