Two more inmates who escaped from the Red Deer Remand Centre yesterday (June 12) have been arrested, leaving one still at large.

Yesterday afternoon, Innisfail RCMP responded to a call for assistance from Blackfalds RCMP about a stolen truck.  RCMP located the vehicle and followed it at a distance and later located it parked and vacant.

Within minutes, the police were advised of an ATV being stolen from a rural yard near where the truck was located.  The suspects were found riding the ATV which then collided with an RCMP vehicle.  The suspects fled on foot.  One was arrested with the help of a police dog and the second was apprehended by an Innisfail officer.

26-year-old Quinn Russell Peterson and 52-year-old Brian Power were identified as two of the escaped inmates.  Three of the four escapees are back in custody with only 26-year-old Dallas Albert Rain still on the loose.
