The trial for 57 year old Douglas Garland enters it's fourth week in a Calgary court room tomorrow, with more startling evidence set to be presented.

Garland is charged with first degree murder in the deaths of 66 year old Alvin Liknes, his 53 year old wife, Kathy Liknes and their grandson, five year old Nathan O'Brien.

The Crown Prosecutors in the case are expected to present aerial photographs that were taken by a mapping company on July 1st and 2nd, 2014 that they say show three bodies on the Garland farm.  It is a piece of evidence that prosecutor Vicki Faulkner says was found by "dumb luck."

The prosecution theorizes that Garland kidnapped the three from the Liknes' southwest Calgary residence because of a long-standing grudge against Alvin, then took them to the farm he shared with his parents, and murdered them.  Their bodies have never been located.

The trial is schedule to last five weeks.
