Thousands of young people are expected to flock to an employment fair in Calgary this afternoon (March 28th).

Dozens of businesses including a few from the Rocky View area will be at Stampede Park, helping many local youth find employment especially given the recent statistics.

According to Stats Canada, Alberta's Youth Unemployment rate rose to 13.4% in February, up from just over 12% last year.

The Hiring fair runs from 1:30 to 6pm and more info is on their official website.
