It won't be long now before a big holiday tradition returns to Airdrie.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be stopping in Airdrie on Friday, December 9th at 5:30pm.

Canadian artist Dallas Smith and Odds will provide the entertainment and you can bet it'll be a busy night, regardless of the weather.

If you're worried about finding parking for the big event, you won't need to.

"City is rolling buses out starting at 4:40," says Mayor Peter Brown, "they're coming every five minutes to take you there. It's always a hassle with all the cars, a lot of people will want to get down there."

The Holiday Train will stop in Didsbury at 3:45 on the 9th, before rolling it's way out to Cochrane on December 12th at 2:45
