The man responsible for stealing a child's insulin pump from a change room in the Ron Ebbesen Arena has been arrested and charged.

On Saturday (March 11), an off duty officer with Calgary Police Services recognized a man as the suspect in the theft of the insulin pump that belonged to 12 year old Josh Davies. The same suspect was linked to other thefts from arenas in Calgary and the surrounding area.

The man was identified as 51 year old Kevin Roggeveen and subsequently arrested. He was charged with theft over $5000 for the incident involving the insulin pump, as well as two counts of theft under $5000 from a motor vehicle and one count of theft under $5000.

According to Cst. Jennifer Weedmark with the Airdrie RCMP, the insulin pump has not been recovered.
