They came by the dozens to hear a message of Unity.

PC Leadership Candidate Jason Kenney was in Airdrie on January 24, to talk about Uniting the Right as a way to win the next Provincial Election.

Many in attendance said they enjoyed listening to Kenney's message.

"I thought it was refreshing to hear," said one supporter, "I heard whole answers. I didn't hear evasive answers."

One woman said Kenney could actually unite the Conservative voters. "As a parent and an Alberta resident, it's exciting to see someone that has potential."

However, not everyone at the event was on board with Kenney's vision.

"It's mainly economics, there's more to just politics than economics," said David. "If people like Jason Kenney realized where the winds were blowing, they'd realize people like me, young and up and coming Conservatives, are not particularly impressed with the way they've handled themselves."

At the end, Kenney said he was thrilled by the turnout in Airdrie as he moves to become the Leader of the PC's in March.
