Just when you thought you had more Spring to enjoy, Mother Nature brought you snow.

Despite a forecast calling for sunshine and Chinook temperatures on March 16th, a sudden blast of snow came in early in the morning.

That snow made for difficult conditions for morning commuters, as drivers were asked to travel to the conditions with snow and poor visibility.

It was especially dangerous on Highway 1A, which was shut down for drivers approaching Banff.
