Tax season is upon us once again.

The City of Airdrie mailed out tax notices yesterday (May 30), and they should be in your mailbox within the next week.

"If you haven't received anything by June 6, make sure to give someone a call in our taxation department," said Mayor Peter Brown.

According to Mayor Brown, the easiest way to pay your tax bill this year is through the City's website.

"There's also different ways you can pay online. To be honest with you, that's the best way to go."

With the passing of the 2017 tax bylaw on May 15, you can expect to see a slight increase to your municipal taxes this year of $4.90 per month.

Municipal taxes must be paid by June 30.
