Alberta Premier Rachel Notley is joining the millions of voices showing their support to London.

Last Saturday, several people died in separate terror attacks on London Bridge and surrounding bars and restaurants.

In a statement released today (June 5th) Premier Notley says “Albertans are shocked and deeply saddened by the terror attack in London."

Notley also took time to remember the Canadian among those who died, Christine Archibald who studied at Mount Royal University in Calgary.

"She worked to help homeless people in Calgary. She could have been any one of us and her tragic death has left our province shaken"

At the end of her statement, Notley says that "Albertans stand united with our friends in London and with everyone across the world who believes in the importance of free, open and caring societies.”
