Airdrie Rural RCMP hope you can help them identify a man and woman that made off with an iPad from the Tim Hortons on Cross Iron Lane in Balzac..

Cst. Dan Martin said that around 9:30am on June 14th, the man and woman entered the store to make a purchase.

"The male ordered a coffee. While he was waiting for his order to process, which I'm sure you can appreciate is a very short time, the male spotted an iPad on the counter which he grabbed and handed to the female."

The woman hid the iPad under her sweater and promptly left the store. Shortly after, the man followed with the coffee and the pair left the area in a white smart car.

Cst. Martin said the incident was a crime of opportunity.

The woman is described as Caucasian and about 30 years old, with an average height and build as well as dark brown hair. She was wearing a black sweater, black shirt, black tights and black shoes. The man, also Caucasian, looked to be about 35 years old with an average height and thin build as well as short brown hair and sideburns. He was wearing a red "Pringles" t-shirt, blue jeans, dark shoes and a silver watch. He also had half sleeve tattoos on both arms.
