Airdrie police are turning to the public for help identifying a man involved in a gas and dash on July 13.

That afternoon, the man pulled up to the Shell station on Centre Avenue and filled up a grey Dodge truck. Surveillance footage obtained by police show the man entered the station to pick up food items and cigarettes. The man appeared to pay for the items using a debit card, but then pulled the card from the machine and fled the station in the truck.

Police later ran the truck's plates and determined that the vehicle had previously been reported stolen.
