Airdrie RCMP are looking into a theft and assault at a local business

According to the RCMP, a man walked into the Sobeys Liquor store on Main Street at around 7:30pm on February 12th and refused service when staff asked if he needed help finding anything. The man then grabbed $150 worth of liquor and tried to run out of the store. When a staff member grabbed him, he pushed back and fled on foot.

The staff member received minor injuries.

The suspect appeared to be an Asian male in his 30's with a buzz cut and was wearing a burgundy leather jacket, jeans and a dark coloured t-shirt with a skull.
