Airdrie RCMP continues to investigate the robbery at the Salvation Army Thrift Store earlier this month and now they have an idea of what the suspect looked like.

Constable Dan Martin of the RCMP said that one person witnessed the robbery and came forward with details.

“One witness on the scene got a very good look at the suspect. That witness has sat down with an RCMP sketch artist and put together a composite sketch that we are now releasing in the hopes that somebody can recognize the sketch or may jog their memories about something they saw that day.”

The man in the sketch is described as 5’6” to 5’7” tall weighing about 140 to 150lbs with black hair with light greying and grey facial hair.

Cst. Martin said that they’ve exhausted every investigative tool in this incident and are hoping this sketch will help them.

“We’ve reached out to businesses and persons in the area that might have had some video or photos. This is kind of one of the last efforts at hoping to identify a suspect.”

If you recognize the man in the sketch, you’re asked to contact the Airdrie RCMP or Crimestoppers.
