Didsbury RCMP have arrested three men and are searching for a fourth suspect after a kidnapping at gunpoint in the town.

Last Tuesday evening (January 23), RCMP received a call that a man had been kidnapped with a firearm.

"The victim was allegedly threatened that they needed to pay a sum of money or be harmed," said Cpl. Curtis Peters.

Thankfully, police found the man at a rural property west of Olds. He was physically unharmed.

After carrying out a search warrant, police arrested 19 year old Justin Anglet, 39 year old Dustin Martin and 19 year old Jacob Donkin, all from Olds.

Peters said they are still searching for 32 year old Mitch Engler.

"We do consider Mr. Engler to be armed and dangerous. We're urging anyone that has information on his whereabouts not to approach him but to immediately contact their local law enforcement."

All four men face numerous charges including kidnapping and possession of a firearm.
