Airdrie RCMP are turning to the public for help with the investigation of a month old gas and dash, in the hopes that the man involved can be identified.

On July 21, at around 6:10am, a male suspect driving a dark coloured Dodge truck fueled up with $95 worth of gas at the Petro Canada on East Lake Crescent, then drove off without paying. Police did not obtain the vehicle's license plate number.

"There's a surveillance photograph of him that we've released to the media," said Cst. Dan Martin. "The male appears Caucasian. He's quite young."

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing black sunglasses, a black sweater with white markings, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap and grey sneakers.
