Airdrie Rural RCMP are trying to determine exactly what happened when tools were stolen from a construction site on Range Road 11 near Airdrie sometime between June 20 and 21.

Cst. Dan Martin said a construction company had left one of their tool trailers parked in an open garage of a residence under construction.

"Some person or persons walked onto the construction site and breached or broke a window to gain entry into a tool trailer and stole several tools."

About $4,000 worth of tools were stolen, including a Dewalt saw, chop saw, and sawz-all, a Pasload stapler, a Bosch hanger gun and an air compressor. All the tools are engraved with "ACCU Construction."

Martin said they don't have a suspect yet, and are hoping anyone that may have seen anything will come forward with information.
