Airdrie RCMP has released details and photos in regards to several thefts from the past couple weeks.

The most recent incident took place on January 12th at the East Lake Car and Truck Wash.

"Several suspects were observed entering the car wash," said Cst. Dan Martin of the RCMP. "They were able to rip a change machine off of the wall in one of the wash bays and take off with that."

Cst. Martin said that the video surveillance couldn't determine the exact number of suspects involved in the theft. Police say the suspects fled the Car Wash in a stolen dark coloured GMC Truck.

Back on December 28th, a woman was shopping at the Airdrie Walmart when she noticed her wallet was missing. She later recovered the wallet but discovered her debit card was not there. Police now have a photo of the suspect responsible.

"We're releasing the photo in hopes that somebody recognizes him," said Cst. Martin, "It's a male suspect with a thin build, Caucasian. He had a black Adidas ball cap, black parka with a fur hood, grey shirt, and blue jeans."

 

Finally, RCMP are hoping you can help them to find the man who stole mail from a mailbox at an apartment complex at 148 Summerfield Close on January 4th. Police said the suspect also stole another item.

"He then exited the building and found a small shed outside where he was able to steal a leaf blower as well," said Cst. Martin.
