RCMP are investigating three different gasoline spills as possible vandalism.

On Thursday (August 10), crews responded to a gasoline spill in Bayside that leaked into a nearby water feature. The following day (August 11), fire crews and police were on site at All Fitts Auto looking into and cleaning up a spill that came from a U-Haul van parked at the shop. This morning (August 14), staff from Community Links discovered that their gas tank had been punctured while they fueled up at the Shell Station on Centre Avenue.

Cst. Dan Martin with Airdrie RCMP said at this moment there's very little information that he could give. No witnesses have come forward on any of the three instances. However, because of the frequency and similarity of the three cases, police are investigating them as related incidents.

Cst. Martin also said at this point, they don't believe that gas is being stolen, and are treating the incidents as vandalism cases.

He also said the investigation will be ongoing.
