Two suspects made off with hundreds of dollars of liquor on January 9.

Just before 6:00pm that evening, a man walked into the Sobey's liquor store on Mackenzie Way and nabbed $450 worth of alcohol while a woman kept watch outside.

The suspects fled the scene in a dark coloured four door sedan.

According to Airdrie RCMP, the man had been in the store earlier that day, asking staff about alcohol for his father's retirement party.

The man is approximately 6'0" tall and described as Caucasian with short brown hair and a neck tattoo that appears to be lettering. He was wearing a bright orange ball cap.

The woman is described as Caucasian with platinum blonde hair, and was wearing a white winter jacket at the time.
