Airdrie police are investigating the theft of an insulin pump from a change room at the Ron Ebbesen Arena last week, and they hope the public can assist.

The pump, valued at over $5,000, was stolen while the 12 year old that depends on it was at hockey practice. RCMP have received surveillance footage from the arena and have pinpointed a suspect.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a brown goatee, slim to average build and standing approximately 6'0" tall. At the time, he was wearing glasses, a navy toque with a white emblem and writing, jeans, a black hooded winter jacket with grey lining and black Nike running shoes.
