A Canada wide arrest warrant has been issued for a man involved in numerous robberies in Alberta and Ontario, including some in Airdrie and Crossfield.

"This individual was charged earlier in the year, back in April, with four different robberies of pharmacies in our area including some in Airdrie and Crossfield," said Cpl. Curtis Peters.

34 year old Dustin Robinson was arrested at that time and charged with many counts of robbery, but was released on bail under numerous conditions.

Those conditions stated that Robinson needed to reside in a specific location in Calgary and appear in court at a later date.

Police later discovered that he was not residing at that locations and failed to appear in court, prompting the arrest warrant.

Cpl. Peters said they're actively searching for Robinson and trying to pinpoint where he is.

"We know that he has ties to Calgary and the surrounding area and we also know that he has ties and is originally from southern Ontario. We believe that he could be in either of those locations but it is possible that he could be elsewhere as well."

Cpl. Peters said that if you have any information on Robinson's whereabouts, you're asked to contact the RCMP. He also said you should not approach Robinson if you see him.
