Airdrie RCMP are looking for two suspects who broke into a local Canada Post building earlier this week.

"On January 16th, between roughly 2:05 and 2:12 am, two suspects entered the Kingsview Boulevard Canada Post," said Cst. Dan Martin. "[They] used some instruments to pry open some mailboxes."

Cst. Martin said police are not sure how much, if any, mail was stolen from the building, but they were able to grab video surveillance of the two men involved.

"The first suspect is a Caucasian male, approximately 5'10" with short brown hair. He's got prescription glasses on and he's wearing a white jacket with blue jeans. The second suspect is also a Caucasian male, same height, 5'10". Thin build, wearing a black hat, jacket and pants."

RCMP are also exploring the possibility that this break and enter could be related to similar crimes involving other Canada Post locations.

"We have experienced other thefts from Canada Post mailboxes in other locations. We're looking at those as well to see if we can draw a link to those thefts and the suspects involved in this one."
