Background:

On Friday, March 20 at approximately 2 p.m., RCMP were called to a shooting near Township Road 320 and Range Road 290. A 47-year-old man from Olds was airlifted to hospital. His injuries were later determined to be non-life threatening.

Through the course of the investigation, Mounties determined that two men and a woman attended the property where the incident occurred to settle a dispute over money and belongings.

The discussion became heated and one of the male suspects used a handgun to shoot the victim. Police say the shooter fired the gun additional times at another male resident, though he was not hit. The three suspects fled the scene in a gold Infinity SUV.
