Banff-Airdrie MP Blake Richards held a round table discussion in Airdrie on Tuesday, November 8th.

Participants got the chance to share their thoughts on the state of the province, as well as learn the facts.

"You gotta pay attention to this situation, it's becoming a crisis, and sure there are some things we are advocating, but we are also here to hear other practical suggestions." said Richards.

The unemployment rate has risen from 4.8 percent to 8.4 percent since the beginning of 2015, and more than 200,000 Albertans are jobless.

With the mission of providing the federal government with feedback gathered at these round tables in the form of a report.

"I'm here to fight for your interests, and i'm here to fight for our province." said Richards.
