RCMP are looking for your help in finding a stolen shotgun. 

Someone stole the shotgun from a vehicle that was parked on a rural property East of Airdrie.

"Anytime a firearm is in the hands of someone who is not lawfully entitled to have it we have some concerns about the public's safety." said Cpl. Curtis Peters, Airdrie RCMP. 

The shotgun was stolen sometime between the hours of 11:00pm on Sunday, November 20th, and 5am on Monday, November 21st.

At the time it was stolen, the firearm was safely stored in a cloth case with a trigger lock equipped.
