Banff-Airdrie MP Blake Richards is once again bringing a huge struggle to the table.

Richards recently submitted a Private Members Motion in the hopes of helping parents who have lost benefits after a child has died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Currently, if a child dies from SIDS, the parents immediately lose Government benefits, meaning most will have to return to work while grieving.

This policy has been the focus of the local group Quinn's Legacy Run Society, founded by Sarah Cormier who lost her baby to SIDS in 2014.
