You may have noticed that the street art hanging in the court by Nose Creek Park is no longer there and construction is underway.

Mayor Peter Brown says the art will be moved to other parks within the city.

" So the street art is moving to other conditions, we are going to keep the tradition alive by putting those panels out at Highwood Park, nose creek park and east lake regional park."

The city is holding a street art workshop on Saturday between 1-3 p.m to encourage youth and adults within the community to develop a constructive hobby.

" You can learn the many techniques out there to become a talented street artist, you can sign up at www.airdri.ca\streetart is happening at the 19 highland park which is the municipal policing building"

The court that used to hold the art is under construction and its the cities goal that the new court will be utilized more.

"We are converting the courts over to pickleball courts, we have a big pickleball community in Airdrie so it will be nice to see those courts being utilized once again."
