Students at W.H. Croxford High School received a huge show of support from a local business.

On December 9th, Davis Chevrolet presented a cheque for $9,000 to the Friends of W.H. Croxford Society during a morning pep rally.

Back on October 29th, Davis Chev invited the community to "Test Drive For A Student" with each successful ride donating funds to the school.

"We raised a thousand dollars more than last year," says General Manager Glen Smaha, "the bar is raised and we'll see what we can do in 2017."

Around 450 test drives were carried out that chilly day, which Friends of Croxford Society Treasurer Sumy Chata says was huge.

"Just excited to be a part of it and seeing the kids be happy and that's our main goal at the end of the day."
