With Christmas just around the corner, CP Rail has announced this years Holiday Train Schedule.

The Holiday Train will be making 20 stops in Alberta, including Airdrie on Friday, December 9.

All food donated at the Airdrie stop will go directly to the Airdrie Food Bank to help with holiday hampers and replenish their shelves.

"We are proud of the role the Holiday Train plays, but more importantly, we're proud of the people and families that come out year after year to help their neighbours. They're the reason we keep bringing the train back," said E. Hunter Harrison, CP's Chief Executive Officer.

The train will pull into Nose Creek Park, just off Main Street at 5:30 p.m. with live entertainment being offered by Dallas Smith and the Odds.

At 6:15 the train will head to it's next scheduled stop in Calgary at the South end of the City.

A full schedule for the holiday train is available on the CP Holiday Train website.
