The warm spell in Airdrie and surrounding areas has now broken a record.

As of 3pm on November 8th, Environment Canada confirmed a high temperature of 21.5, breaking a 93 year old record.

The previous high for the day was 21.1 recorded on November 8th, 1923.

Environment Canada says that more records are expected to be broken across the Province for that day.
