Psilocybin, oxycodone, and cannabis were among the narcotics found in two Airdrie residences in late February when the Airdrie RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) executed search warrants. As a result of the warrants, Mounties located and arrested an 18-year-old Airdrie resident, Aiden Pearze McNair.

McNair was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act), Selling Cannabis to a minor as well as two counts of Breach of a Probation Order, and three counts of Breach of a Release Order. He was also charged with Possession of Cannabis for the purpose of trafficking as per the Cannabis Act.

McNair is currently on release with conditions and will appear in Airdrie at the Alberta Court of Criminal Justice on May 16.
