On Wednesday afternoon, Airdrie RCMP received a call regarding a multi-car collision. The scene of the collision is now clear.

Three vehicles were involved in the accident northbound on 8th Street, just before Railway Avenue.

Firefighters were on the scene cleaning up fluid from the vehicles while also cleaning up glass and debris.

RCMP says no major injuries have been reported and the cause was determined to be distracted driving.

Reports are also stating that the QE2 near Crossfield is very icy and to drive with caution.

The snow is expected to slow down overnight, but the roads will be slick all evening and possibly for the morning commute as well.

Remember to brush off your vehicle completely, take it slow, leave plenty of room between you and other vehicles, and give yourself plenty of extra time to get to your destination.

Watch out especially on bridge decks, overpasses, exit ramps, and intersections as they can be extra slick.
