17 Airdronians are currently sick with COVID-19 according to the latest stats from the province.

Over the past 24 hours, 10,962 tests were completed in Alberta. The test results revealed 158 new cases, including three more in the City of Airdrie.

Two additional cases have also been identified in Rocky View County, for a total of seven active cases. To date, 79 Airdronians and 84 RVC residents have recovered from the virus.

Across Alberta, recoveries have surpassed 12,000 while 1,185 cases remain active.

44 Albertans are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, with seven of those being treated in intensive care.

No new deaths were reported on Friday, so the total remains at 237.
