The home town crowd were treated to quite the spectacle last weekend as the Airdrie CFR Bisons won back to back games.

On Saturday (October 21st), the team welcomed the Lloydminster Bandit Energy Bobcats to Ron Ebbesen, having only one win under their belt so far this year.

It was a close game at the beginning with the Bisons finally breaking the deadlock near the end of the second period thanks to Jett Jones.

Jones would add one more in the third period and Braeden Mitchell made 18 saves to secure a 4-0 victory.

The Bisons and Jones would carry that momentum to the following day against the Fort Saskatchewan Boston Pizza Rangers.

Jones would net a natural hat trick as the Bisons prevailed 4-1 for their first back to back wins of the season.

Jones currently leads the AMHL in goals scored with 8.

The Bisons are 8th in the Chrysler Division with a 3-5 record and are on the road this coming weekend.

Their first game is on Saturday (October 28th) against the SSAC Boston Pizza Athletics.
