A Cochrane teen is in big trouble after being caught using counterfeit currency on Saturday, September 10th.
The 16-year-old was arrested after police received reports of a local business receiving a fake U.S. $20 bill.
When located by Cochrane RCMP, the male tried to flee but did not get very far before he was arrested.
He faces a number of charges including possession of counterfeit currency, identity theft, resisting arrest, and altering a firearms licence.
