A motor vehicle collision heading Southbound on the QEII, near Carstairs in the vicinity of Township Road 310 has been cleared. The highway has re-opened.
There were no details on injuries.
A snowfall warning is in effect for Airdrie and the surrounding areas. Motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution. The QEII heading Southbound towards Calgary City limits is reported to be slippery, with blowing snow and strong winds. Similar road conditions have been reported heading North on the QEII towards Carstairs and Crossfield.
