Draw Two wasn't as kind to Team Missikewitz as the first one at the 2012 Alberta Junior Championships in Medicine Hat. Team Peterman, from Red Deer, needed only 7 ends to beat the local girls 8-2, January 11.

The Airdrie Curling Club represintitives got on the board first, scoring 1 in the second end, but gave up points in each of the next three ends to fall behind. It was a hole they couldn't climb out of.

One more point was scored in the sixth by Team Missikewitz, but two in the seventh by the team from up Highway 2 ended the game early.

The lone representitive from Airdrie finished Day 1 with a 1-1 record, tied for second in the standings. They look to get back in the win column on January 12. They play in the afternoon against Team Brown, from Edmonton, at 1pm, and later in the evening against Team Sturmay from Calmar, Alberta at 7pm.
