It was another exciting weekend for the Airdrie Filipino Basketball League.

Last Saturday (March 24th) three games hit the court for week three of the AFBL season.

Hopelink Basketball played two games last Saturday in the AFBL.

In the first game, AJC cruised to an 84-76 win over Hopelink thanks to 30 points from Christian Mendoza while JR Matro had 24 points for Hopelink.

Hopelink was looking for redemption in the second game of the day and nearly came away with the win.

In the end, however, EATON hung on in the final seconds to win 94-92 with Jeffry Mangulabnan scoring 38 points.

The final game of the afternoon saw AJC play once again, this time against NRG Fitness. JoJo Dacio had 29 points for NRG as they came away with an 88-78 victory.

The AFBL will be off next week for the Easter weekend but are back on the court on Saturday, April 7th at Airdrie Koinonia Christian School.
