After the sustained snowfall over the weekend, motorists are waking up on Monday morning to foggy conditions.

Roads in and around Airdrie continue to be slippery with icy wheel paths, while the QEII heading Southbound towards Calgary city limits is partly covered in snow and is reported to be slippery, with shoulder snow and ice buildup. Northbound on the QEII towards Crossfield, similar conditions have been reported.

Motorists are asked to exercise caution on bridge decks and intersections.

No fog warning is in effect for the surrounding areas, and according to Environment and Climate Change Canada, fog patches should be dissipating later this morning.

Monday evening may bring a small chance of flurries and those flurries may also occur on Tuesday morning.
