It's almost the New Year and time to start talking about the year that was. In music news, iTunes has released their list of the top 10 downloads of 2011.

Brit songstress, Adele, tops the list with her massive hit, "Rolling in the Deep". The 23-year-old from London had a phenomenal year, garnering six Grammy nominations and becoming the only female recording artist in history to achieve the feat of two top five hits in both the UK Official Singles Chart and the Official Albums Chart simultaneously since the Beatles in 1964.

Katy Perry is the only artist to have two songs on the list.

The top 10 all get airtime on AIR 106.1 FM. Here's the full list:
