Airdrie player Gary Haden and The Medicine Hat Tigers were in action last night (January 26th) when they faced the Kelowna Rockets.

The Tigers opened up the scoring early with a goal by Mark Rassell just forty-two seconds into the first period. Five minutes later Rassell scored again giving his team a two-goals lead over the Rockets.

With fifteen seconds left in the period, the Rockets right winger Leif Mattson scored to make it a one-goal game.

The Tigers were able to score a goal in the second period with Gary Haden getting the assist. The third period, however, was all Rockets as they scored twice and again in overtime to win the game 4-3.

Haden and the Tigers are back in action tonight when they play fellow Airdronian Barrett Sheen and the Moose Jaw Warriors.
