It took 11 games, but Airdrie Hockey player Gary Haden finally has his first goal in the Western Hockey League.

Haden scored early in the third period as his Medicine Hat Tigers cruised to a 10-3 victory over the Kootenay Ice on October 19th.

Fellow Airdronian Barrett Sheen, was kept off the scoreboard for the Kootenay Ice who weren't able to muster a goal until after the 5 minute mark of the third period.

Haden will hope to add some more points and contribute to his team's success when the Tigers and Ice play the grudge match on October 21st at 7pm.
