A motor vehicle collision heading Northbound on the QEII near Highway 566, near Cross Iron Mills has been cleared.
Earlier on Wednesday morning motor vehicle collision involving two semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle in the vicinity has been cleared, while a collision Southbound on Deerfoot Trail at Airport Trail has also been cleared.
Motorists are asked to use extreme caution on the roads, as highways in and around Airdrie are slick and partly covered in snow and ice.
The QEII, Southbound towards Calgary City limits is reported to be slippery with icy sections, while heading North of Airdrie, similar conditions have been reported.
Snow is continuing to fall, with forecasts indicating it should be clearing up later on Wednesday morning.
