Snow causing poor driving conditions

With the snow from yesterday and today piling up, Alberta RCMP is advising to drive with caution on the QEII from Olds to Airdrie.

The QEII has been reported to have icy patches and be snow-covered. It is recommended to postpone travel if possible.

There have been reports of vehicles stuck in the ditch along the QEII between Olds and Airdrie.

The snow is supposed to last until this evening.

Tonight, the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train will be making its way to Airdrie so if you are heading out to see it, make sure you are bundled up properly.
