On October 8, at 8:48 p.m., RCMP received a report of an assault that occurred on Stonegate Drive in Airdrie.

Early investigation indicates that the victim was in a verbal altercation with two suspects when one of the suspects pushed the victim onto the ground. As a result of the assault, the victim received serious injuries and they remain in hospital in serious condition.

Airdrie RCMP are asking for public assistance in identifying the suspects who are described as:

Suspect 1:

  • Fair complexion
  • Female
  • Blonde Shoulder length hair
  • Heavy set
  • Approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall
  • 30-40 years old
  • Wearing jeans a White top

Suspect 2:

  • Male
  • Short cropped light brown hair
  • 280-300 pounds
  • Heavy set carrying most of his weight in the middle
  • 6 feet 6 inches tall
  • 30-40 years old
  • Possibly wearing a plaid jacket

Both suspects were associated with a vehicle described as:

  • Dark coloured Ford F-150-250
  • Running boards
  • Chrome trim and bumper
